A Monthly Discussion, Info Dissemination and Training to assist scouters to do their scout job well.
"What Does Your Unit Need to be Successful?"
Roundtable is your link to the District and Council to get answers on making your unit as successful as it can be.
Roundtable is a monthly meeting, where the Mustang District Committee Leaders and Commissioners provide information on upcoming activities/events, training, and topical subjects designed to assist Scout Leaders and Parents (SM's, CM's, ASM's, CC's Den and Webelos Leaders) in their roles in Scouting. The program information you obtain here cannot be found anywhere else. ATTENDANCE while not mandatory is HIGHLY ENCOURAGED!
Mustang Roundtables occur on the 2nd Thursday of every month during the year, except for July and August, and not on New Years Day! We meet at Peace Presbyterian Church, in the downstairs main meeting hall, at 7PM to 8:30PM. PPC is located at 7624 Cedar Lake Road, in St. Louis Park, 55426 2 blocks West of Louisiana Avenue on North side of street, and parking/entry is on the North side of the building.
All leaders and parents are encouraged to attend, especially Scoutmasters, ASM's, Cubmasters, Den Leaders, and Unit Committee Chairs.
Roundtable Breakout sessions:
The goal of Roundtable breakouts is a sharing of information based on the experiences of the participants. What works well? What does not work? What challenges have you experienced and how did you overcome them?
Our Roundtable will be stronger and more valuable with the participation of adult leaders. If you are an experienced Boy Scout Leader, we need your wisdom and advice. If you are new to the role, bring your questions and concerns to discuss!
